Louis S. St.Laurent II is a former Chief Assistant State Attorney for the Twentieth Judicial Circuit of Florida and is now in private practice in the greater Fort Lauderdale area, Coral Springs, Broward County, Florida. St.Laurent is also the President and Co-Editor of the largest French newspaper in Florida, Le Soleil de La Floride, published in Hollywood, Florida and president of Canadafest, the largest annual festival held on the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk. St.Laurent served 10 years as the chief assistant prosecutor where he was responsible for the investigation and prosecution of some of the largest bank, and land fraud and drug smuggling cases in Florida. During this period of time St.Laurent worked closely with state and federal law enforcement agencies and U.S. congressional staff investigators resulting in his testifying before several U.S. Congressional Committees including on welfare and other government fraud. St.Laurent presently represents many Canadian businessmen from Quebec on corporate, real estate, and other business related legal matters, including the preparation of contracts and real estate closings. St.Laurent also represents businessmen and investors from France who have been defrauded in Florida.
